Curt M. Breneman Research Group

I'm a graduate chemistry major at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, working in the Breneman lab. I've been learning the ins-and-outs of data mining, the curse of dimensionality, the importance of clean datasets, and when and how to apply linear and nonlinear models to problems. I've mainly been working on datasets consisting of drug-like models, though I'll be continuing work on protein shape/property hybrids in the future, as well as extending electron density derived properties.

When not in the lab, studying, or in class, you can find me with friends, usually chilling out to Hooverphonic, Sneaker Pimps, Depeche Mode, Delerium, Collective Soul, Morcheeba, and countless other artists. I'm a fan of most all music, love classic films, and I love to read. When the weather cooperates, I'm outside biking or swimming, or dabbling in photography.
